About this event

To mark its 50th anniversary, we're celebrating Roy Ayers’ defining record — a landmark of jazz-funk that continues to move generations.

Vibraphone pioneer and one of the most sampled artists of all time, Ayers shaped a sound that continues to echo across jazz, soul and hip-hop. Everybody Loves the Sunshine remains a cornerstone of modern music, fifty years on.

An all-star line-up of multi-award-winning musicians, with credits spanning Roy Ayers, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, Paul Simon, Shalamar, Kokoroko and more, brings the album to life in full.
